Spatial Distribution of Cyclograpsus cinereus Dana 1851 on the Rocky Shores of Antofagasta (23°27′ S, Chile)

چکیده

The decapod fauna in the intertidal zone of rocky shores Chile is highly diverse, especially along northern and central mainland coasts, where influence cold Humboldt Current results high productivity. One most abundant species these ecosystems Cyclograpsus cinereus Dana, 1851. aim present study, carried out spring summer seasons between 2018 2020, was to determine spatial distribution patterns C. different sites Antofagasta bay, Chile, order establish probabilistic models that explain its at each site. Individuals were counted random quadrants zone. data thus obtained processed by application variance/mean ratio whether individuals random, aggregated or uniform, associated with Poisson, negative binomial positive distributions, respectively. revealed (negative binomial) 15 sampling events, uniform (positive 4 events. located on four sectors an urban zone, two a protected zone; no significant differences found densities zones. interpretative indicated patterns, agreeing previously reported for decapods southern Chile.
